Bring waterproof outdoor garments, weelingtons and warm clothes. It may be cold and wet on the west coast even in summertime.
Good parking place at the cabins. Distance to local shop approx. 3/4 mile. The nearest town, Haugesund, is 23 miles/ 30 minutes drive from Auklandshamn.
Auklandshamn is a central starting point for trips in Sunnhordland and North-Rogaland. Sveio with its rugged and variable coastline is easily accessible. Many well trodden footpaths. Tour to Ryvarden Lighthouse with a panoramic view over Sletta.
